If one wants an employee to be effective for the company and if you want the company to be stimulating for the employee, there are three things you need:
- The employee has the required education. To verify via CV (resume).
- The employee has the skills needed. To verify in interviews, through references and in assessments.
- The employee has a working ethic that matches with the corporate culture. However, that seems hard to verify.
Agree? We developed a test to measure the degree of matching. We realized that for an important client who contributed much to the project by letting us examine their own expertise. It works, and it works in many countries and cultures.
